Austin plays for our competitive soccer team (U-10). It started up again for the spring. This was our 3rd game. We won our first 2 games and tied this game 2-2.
Austin plays goalie and forward. He is a fast runner and an AWESOME goalie! He was goalie the first half and he ran his guts out the second half trying to make a goal. No luck this time, maybe next. BUT he stopped a lot of goals from getting in the goal while he played goalie.
We have a good little team. It is a lot of the players first season playing competitive soccer, so they are still learning. Chris loves to coach. He is a great coach, I think that is what he lives for, being with his son and sports!

I am glad Chris likes to coach. Kyle says after this soccer season he is done. It is hard when you have little ones that don't listen to anything you have to say.
That is so cool that he plays competition. I can't wait until I am able to get my kids into that stuff. Isn't it just so fun to watch them play.
That is so great that Chris coaches his team, I bet they both just love that. I hope one day Eric will do that for the boys, you must be so proud watching them!
Way to go Austin!! Thiago coaches his sisters comp team and Davis High Soccer with Souli...and he LOVES it. He just can't wait until Carson is old enough to play, the other day Carson had a basketball that he kept kicking instead of dribbling and shooting. Thiago was so proud.
That is fun that Chris is his coach Souli says that would be hard to be your sons coach. HE either thinks he would favor or be too hard on them. But way to go Austin.
