24th of July

The annual 24th of July in Bear River city, started out with the parade and my mini colorguard being involved in it. So much fun.

The 24th has many highlights...

Brin marching down the parade

Playing with cousins

hanging out with family....

and more family....

and running the races, eating pie and watching the baby show.
This year we went to a Salt Lake Real Soccer game in Sandy. We all had never been to the new stadium and this was something different to do.

We had good seats, 5 rows up and right behind a goal. This is everyone eating cotton candy. It was soooooo hot, we spent $20.00 for each of us to have ONE bottle of water. But it was worth it!~

The game ended up being tied 1-1

Here is the girls posing and the boys very into the game.

When the game was over, they let us go down to the field and sit and watch the fireworks. It was a lot of fun to do that.

After the fireworks, we got a hotel in Sandy and spent the night there. It was a late game and we thought that would top off our fun weekend, and it did.

Chris's Birthday

When you get older, birthdays just are normal days.....that sucks!! Chris and I both had to work on his birthday, but at 7 pm, we got in the car and at least went to dinner. Texas Roadhouse seems to be our favorite lately. When we got home, we blew out the candles. We gave him a Germany soccer jersey and tickets to a Real game on July 24th.

4th of July

Well this year, we decided to go to Willard Park and enjoy the races and the airplane candy drop.

I think the kids enjoyed this part the best. Candy falling from the sky! Who would NOT like this!!

Brinley ran her race and won 2nd place!!!

Taylee ran her race and won 3rd place!!

Austin ran his race and won 1st place.
After the races, we went an met my mom and sister in Ogden at the mall and went and saw a movie. A little bit different of a 4th of July, but we saw fireworks the night before in Logan and played with our owm fireworks in my parents driveway the next night.

Austin goes to Scout Camp

Austin left to go to scout camp for a whole week. This is a first for him and me! This picture is of him the night before he left. He is using the same backpack that his dad used when he went to scout camp. He had a blast and loved camping and earning merit badges.
