The CORN MAZE

We decided to try out a Corn Maze this year for our family halloween activity. Last year, we went to the Dinosaur park. This was a lot closer, so we went to see what it was all about. We went a night it was NOT haunted, cause I would have 3 kids sleeping in my bed for weeks if we went when it was!
Here is the start, (we also went when it was light!)(you know, kids sleeping with ya)
The kids were not so sure about it. I kept telling Austin to go down one way and I would go another, and he would quickly so NO! They liked to stay close to us! Funny Huh!

Brinley got a smile on her face when she discovered that there was REAL CORN in the corn field. She loves to eat corn.

Here is us trying to figure out how to get out!

Taylee not leaving my side!

The kids after we figured the maze out! It took us 50 minutes to figure this 20 acre maze out!
They were excited to finally leave, but they said they had fun. I am glad we got out before it got dark!

MY LITTLE FARMER

Every week for the past 6 weeks or so, I help out my family by picking tomatoes for the Saturday's Farmer's Market. I usually pick them while Brinley is at preschool, so there is no distractions. Well this week, I had a helper.

She is all ready, Gloves and all!
She did really great (at first). She helped me pick all the RED tomatoes, not the GREEN ones! This is something that she had to keep reminding me!

Then she got tired and just played in the dirt most of the time!

She did help me take off the stems from the tomatoes, so she just sat by the basket and I handed the tomatoes to her.

Her favorite ones were the BABY ones! Every small tomatoe we found she called it a baby!
They are so cute, she would say.
But her favorite part of all, was to ride or help drive (she thinks) the 4 wheeler.
Thanks sweetie, you made picking tomatoes fun and memerable (and twice the time to pick them) haha

Dax's Birthday

Well life has been very busy, and since I broke my camera, I have not taken many pictures. I did take a few at my nephew's birthday party last week.
Dax is a tractor lover, so he had a John Deer Birthday. We all wore green, brown, or yellow clothes. It was fun. The kids had dinosaur nuggets & tator tots and the cake was very yummy! Robyn did a great job on that!
It is always a fun day, when we have a party!
