Birthday, Fair & 1st day of School

Well the last week of Summer was a very busy one! My birthday was very eventful! It happened to be the first day of the Box Elder County Fair. So we had a parade to go to.

Here is Taylee with some of her friends before the parade started. She cheered in the parade.

But my morning started out, by getting gifts from my family. My kids were so excited to give them to me. The kids had doctors appointments that morning in Logan. After that, I decided to treat myself to a birthday haircut.

I went to my cute, sweet, new sisiter-in-law, Jamee, and we decided to WAK- IT-OFF! I now have a darling A-line hair cut and I love it! She was amazing to give all us girls haircuts that day! Thank you so much Jamee, we love you! I took the kids out for lunch, then we headed back home for the parade.

These are my darling color guard girls who performed awesomely!!

Here is also the sign that those "darling" girls put on the car as I drove through the parade! I have never had so many people tell me Happy Birthday before in my life!

We headed out to the fair, and rode rides, since it is discount night! The kids love it!
Then a few days later was the first day of school.

Austin is in 6th grade, intermediate school!!! He rides a bus now and has a locker!! AAAHHH!
Well he loved the first day, except he got on the wrong bus that morning. He got on the Middle school/High school bus. But the nice bus driver took him to the right school. he was not the only one who was on there, thank goodness! He had trouble opening his locker, but we think he has it down now. He has classes with a lot of his soccer buddies and Mckinley friends. He loves the food, (Weird huh?) and has his own lunch card. He leaves at 7 am and gets hame at 2:45.

Taylee is in 3rd grade. She is the only one in the family at the elementry school. She loves her teacher and loves her class. She already got 100% on her first spelling test and had a watermelon party! Sounds like it will be a fun year for her. She has a cute friend that she rides bikes to school with so she is not alone.
Good luck this year kidos!
