A Day at Lagoon

Friday was ATK, Chris's Work, day at Lagoon. We have not been there to ride rides for years, so we decided that we would go this year. We started out the day swimming at Lagoona Beach. We had a fun time there. Brinley wpuldn't leave my sight, so I did not get to ride any of the slides, but everyone else had fun. We spent 3 hours there then off for lunch and the "RIDES"!

After Lunch, they rode rides. Austin is at a borderline height. He hit the extreme mark for the kiddy rides, but not quite tall enough to go by himself in the big rides, so I got to be his "partner" in all the big roller coaster rides. He was a trooper. He pulls some quite funny faces when those butterflies get in his stomach. Like the Tital Wave and Fire Dragon. Funny!! I thought he was going to throw up, but NO that is just what he does, pulls funny faces.

Brinley really wanted to ride the "choo choo train". (so did austin). Brinley made friends with the little girl behind her during the ride. Taylee thought it was so weird that they were speaking "spanish". (I don't think that was the launguage they were speaking, but she thought it was.)

Brinley was too little to ride a lot of the big rides, so she was very patient waiting with Chris while the rest of us rode them. So then we gave her her turn. She loved riding on these "little" rides. We could not get her off of this one. She wanted to ride it again and again.

The kids loved the "lady bug bop". It is a mini version of the rocket. Brinley rode it too with me. She said that it tickled her belly!!

We had a very fun, very hot, very long, family day at Lagoon. Until next year......

Show & Tell

Well here it goes! I was "surfing" my friends blogs, and I came across this show & tell. I thought theirs was cute and it showed me a little more about their everyday lives. So I said, that I was up for the challenge. I read their blogs, then went and took pictures, no cleaning up or fixing (that is the rules) AS IS ONLY!!

The Fridge: Well I did go shopping a week ago, there are a few things in there left to eat. LOOK grapes & watermelon in the blue bowl. how healthy!

The Kitchen Sink: Well, Taylee was in charge of dishes tonight after dinner. She did a great job. I don't know why there is a medicine dropper on the ledge of the sink, no one is sick? I need to teach her how to wash out the sink when she is done, it is a little scummy still!

Laundry room: If you call it a room! It is in the outer realm of my basement!! I really would like a main floor laundry one day! I did do some laundry today, but sometimes it doesn't get done, because "out of sight, out of mind" apparently the towels did not get done today! My laundry room is also my storage/junk room. This is my least favorite room in the whole house!

The Master Closet: HAHA master closet!! In my dreams!! This is our mini closet for 2. Yes this is all our clothes! except my pants and such are in the dresser. I do go through my clothes quite often and thow out the ones I don't wear (cause I don't have room!) Look I even have a shoe rack, but do you see any shoes on it? AHHH

My bed: I like my bed. I bought this bedspread last year. I still need to paint my walls the tan color that I bought to go with it, but It intails of moving this big glass headboard, that my huspand is not really excited about moving, so it remains unpainted, It is a little wrinkly cause when my huspand comes home from work, this is where he goes. (notice: work clothes on the floor) Comfortable & I enjoy getting in it every night!

Self Picture: AHHHH a little scary today! Well I at least put makeup on today, but you can't really tell anymore. I just got back from a long family walk, hence the sunglasses on my head and the parted bangs!!

Favorite room: The room I am in right now. This is my office ( not finished yet, but it will be amazing when it is!) Messy desk, but I know where everything is, just ask! I just painted the walls yellow, last week and I couldn't wait any longer, I had to move in! My life has been in boxes and my "laundry room" for too long, (going on 1 & 1/2 years) I have lots of plans for this room. Carpet for one, a closet with lots of shelves to but lots of things on and a lock for the door!!

Something Fun: I did not like this purchase when my huspand came home with it, but now I love it. It is really fun to watch movies on a really big tv. We spend a lot of family time in front of this expensive, but fun, tv.

What your kids are doing now: Well we just got back from a walk, so they are plopped down in front of the tv, upstairs. (not even the big one) Watching their favorite channel "Disney".

Father's Day

This is my wonderful huspand, the father of my children. He is a great dad! He always finds time to spend with the kids. He loves to spend time with his family. He does like his alone time and friend time too, but he never lets that get in the way of us. Thanks for all you do sweetie!

Happy Fathers Day Dad!

This is my AMAZING DAD!!
My dad is a wonderful person! He is a great example to me in helping people or family when they are in need. My dad has always been there for me and my little family. I love him appreciate all that he does for me.
He keeps himself busy by: raising birds, keeping the garden and farm irrigated, fishing whenever he can, riding the "wheeler", keeping the yards nice and mowed, playing with "lizzie Dog", and spending time with his family.
I love how my dad has so many friends. They always ask how he is doing when they come into the store. He is a friend to everyone.
He is a WONDERFUL grandpa. My kids love to ride the "wheeler" and go find "shrek & donkey" down the way and loves to hear his "secrets" and give "snuggles".
I love you dad! Thank you for everything you have done for me. You worked your butt off to keep our family afloat and I admire you for that.

I can tell that I was definatly loved by my parents in this picture! (I could do no wrong) HAHA

My dad loves to hunt, and me and my siblings were always pictured in the pictures with his "kill of the day". I have so many pics of me and dead animals! But I grew up knowing that when dad got home from his hunting trip, no matter what time of the night, we got our picture taken with the "kill". And we loved it!!

The Snyder Reunion

Chris's Family had a reunion today. All of his siblings were there with there kids, so we decided to have family pictures. I will post them when we get them, but anyways, it was a nice fun day. My brother-in-law Matt, made us all tee-shirts with a funny pig logo on them (we roasted a pig for the BBQ). They were awesome, so thanks Matt!

Linda (my mom-in-law) went all out this year and bought a blow up water slide!! The kids thought they were in heaven!!

Even after the slide was deflated, I still got thrown in by my LITTLE< BIG brother-in-law! so Taylee helped dry me with the towel!

They all got to ride the horses too. Austin is a pro at this, he loves to ride the horses. Taylee and Brinley were troopers and rode too. They were all smiles while they were on.

Thanks to all the hard work that went into the party. It was fun. Missed you Amy!

Bear Lake Condo Trip

We went up to Bear Lake this week for a few days. We let Austin and Taylee take a friend. It was a lot of fun. The boys like playing tennis and the girls liked running around outside until....

We woke up to snow the next morning. The wind was blowing so hard!! Freezing! Activities included: a lot of movies, playing x-box and running around the condo like crazy kids!!

The girls were content during a movie, but then we needed a new activity, sooooooo

I got tough and went out in the FREEZING cold tempatures and took the kids swimming. Brinley was in heaven!

The kids had fun jumping off the side of the pool. I got a good mid-air shot!

I froze watching them swim, apparently it was a lot warmer in the water than out!

The beach was cold, we didn't stay long, just enough to get some seashells and head back.

I love Bear Lake! I have gone there every summer for lots of years! I enjoy the time to relax and unwind. It was a cold trip this time, but still fun!
